Irene Korsten (Writer, Wild Boar Theatre)
Irene studied dramatic arts at the Victorian College of the Arts and writing at RMIT University. After an extensive career as a performer in theatre, stand-up comedy and television Irene is now focusing on writing. The recipient of a Green Room award for Ordinary Misery Irene has worked with La Mama Theatre (Melbourne), Allen & Unwin, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Adelaide Festival Fringe among others.
David Wicks (Director, Wild Boar Theatre)
David also studied dramatic arts at The Victorian College of the Arts and went on to complete his PhD in Performing Arts at RMIT University. He has extensive experience as an actor, director and theatre maker. He has been both director and dramaturg on a number of new works, including Inje, Al Andalus, The Wedding, Woman in the Wall (Hildegard Theatre Company), The Weather and Your Health, Reception: the Musical (Bethany Simons) and co-created new works with acting students at Melbourne University, Charles Sturt University and Federation University.
